Partner data & privacy

Designed to make the boundary clear.

These answers summarize FitCents’ published privacy, product, and partner requirements. They are an operational overview, not a contract or legal advice.

Does a brand receive workout or HealthKit data?

No. FitCents processes health and workout information only to verify reward eligibility. Brands do not receive HealthKit, Health Connect, workout, medical, inferred-health, or other health-derived records or audiences.

What can a brand receive?

Partners may receive approved aggregate eligibility and campaign outcomes for the agreed purpose, including campaign, redemption, and tracked commerce reporting where configured. The member’s first add of a specific offer can include a self-declared new-or-returning relationship for offer attribution; it is not a health signal.

Can a brand target people using health data?

No. FitCents’ published requirements prohibit requesting, targeting, receiving, selling, sharing, re-identifying, or combining workout, HealthKit, Health Connect, medical, inferred health, or other sensitive health data with external profiles.

How does FitCents use fitness information?

It is used to determine reward eligibility. A resulting eligibility outcome or aggregate campaign outcome may be used for the product experience, but not workout type, duration, energy, source, timestamp, or other health-derived details.

How is campaign funding handled?

Campaign funding uses a payment provider’s hosted bank-onboarding experience. FitCents stores provider tokens and limited status/display fields; it does not persist raw bank-account or routing credentials. Funding must be authorized or cleared before launch.

How does checkout work for an online offer?

FitCents copies the unique digital code and opens a merchant-approved direct cart, Shopify cart permalink, or secure product/cart page with a fallback instruction. Partners must test the code, destination, inventory, mobile checkout, and fallback before launch.

What does FitCents require from a partner before launch?

A unique code, valid HTTPS destination, consumer savings value and separate consumer-value budget, accurate terms, inventory and fulfillment capacity, customer support, appropriate funding, and approved measurement configuration. FitCents may test an offer and require corrections before it launches.

Does FitCents guarantee campaign performance?

No. FitCents can validate delivery and measured outcomes; it does not guarantee sales volume, return, acquisition rate, or campaign performance.
